Bio

Jani XO is a native Long Islander. An avid intentional seeker of truth and enlightenment. He has spent his whole life expressing himself through music, literature and art. He became a fanatic of all types of music but engulfed himself in the sounds of hip hop and R&B, which led him to two turntables and a mixer at the age of thirteen. Experimenting with the mixing and blending of various genres and sounds. The love of music progressed from DJ’ing to experimenting with different instruments and learning music theory. Jani XO plays the guitar, piano and electric bass, and composes his music from the root. His love of literature, words, progressive thought, and enlightenment are reflected in his dynamic song writing. Song writing that shares his experiences, understanding and his soul filling experience of music. The words, the music, all honor the universe and announce the future. Rooted in love and strung together with harmonic and melodic chords.
